The 2014 BMW 320i is a moderately difficult car to repair, but a good choice for someone experienced in car maintenance. To access the lower radiator hose, you will have to remove a large panel from underneath the vehicle first. In order to access most of the headlights on this vehicle, you will have to reach through the wheel well lining in some capacity. This can be a problem, as the lining can grow rigid and tight to the vehicle over time. The wiper blade is tougher to replace on this vehicle. The steps necessary for raising the blade with reliability are more complicated than on most other models.
Some things are easier on the 2014 BMW 320i. Access for the high beam bulb is easy, as there is a cover on top of the housing for access to the bulb. This cover is easy to remove. The engine air filter is easier to access on this vehicle than on other similar models. You only have to disengage a few fasteners for access, and these fasteners are easy to disengage. Checking the engine coolant fluid level is easy to do, as the fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay.
