The 1996 Peugeot 106 Sport is a somewhat easy car to maintain. Many of the headlights are accessible by simply reaching behind the bulb housing and removing their respective covers, which will allow for reliable bulb changes. Accessing the tail lights won’t be a problem, either, as they’re all located in a single housing that’s accessible behind a single cover. Replacing the battery will be easy to do given the open access to both its bracket and terminals.
However, the 1996 Peugeot 106 Sport has some challenging aspects. The front turn signal housing will need to be removed in order to access its bulb assembly, and disengaging its fastener may prove to be a problem. The engine air filter will require many tools to get through its very obstructed access, which won’t allow for reliable filter changes. The spare tire runs the risk of rusting to the undercarriage, making it potentially inaccessible.
