The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage ES is a moderately easy vehicle to maintain, and a good choice for even the average vehicle owner. Checking the transmission fluid level with reliability is no problem, as the dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Not every model includes this dipstick. Changing the engine air filter is easy, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage. Changing the headlight is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb.
Some things are harder to repair on the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage ES. You will have to remove a large panel from under the vehicle for access to the petcock. This will require you to crawl under the vehicle as you complete. Changing the cabin air filter will require you to lower the glove box first. Other models will include an access panel in the rear of the glove box instead. The brake fluid reservoir is located in a tight position in the engine bay.
