The 2014 Acura RDX is a moderately easy car to maintain, making this a good choice for the inexperienced car owner. No tools are necessary to access the cabin air filter and the glove box doesn’t even need to be removed. The headlights are also easy to access by simply reaching behind their bulb housing. The spare tire and jack kit can be quickly found in the trunk, allowing for quick removal in the event of a flat.
However, the 2014 Acura RDX does have its downsides. Some of the tail lights are located elsewhere than the main bulb housing, and overall access to them is rather convoluted. The fog light can only be accessed through the wheel well, which is a tight reach overall. Similarly cramped, the transmission fluid dipstick is located deep in the engine bay and has rather obstructed access.
