To access the spare tire, you will have to lower it from under the vehicle. This can be a problem, as the lowering mechanism can grow rusted to the vehicle and be difficult to turn. Accessing the headlights on one side will require the use of tools to remove a panel and some fasteners for access.

Some things are easier on the 2013 Infiniti JX35. Changing the engine air filter with reliability is easy, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will allow you to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis. Both the front and rear wiper blades are easy to change on this vehicle. Other models will require the use of tools for changing your blades.
