In order to access the cabin air filter with reliability, you will have to remove the glove box first. This is a problem, and would have been much easier if there were a designated panel in the rear of the glove box for access. The headlight is difficult to access, as you will have to use a few tools to remove many components for access to the bulb. Other models make this access much easier. To access the oil drain plug, you will have to remove a large panel first. This can be tough, as you will have to crawl under the vehicle in order to complete.

Some things are easier on the 2013 Ford Fusion SE. The engine air filter is easy to access on this vehicle, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access. These fasteners are easy to disengage. Checking the engine coolant fluid level is easy to do, as the fluid reservoir is very visible in the engine bay. The front wiper blade is easy to replace on this vehicle. Other models will require the use of tools to replace this blade, so it’s a nice touch to be able to do this with just your hands.
