The 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT is a relatively difficult truck to maintain, and is only recommended to someone capable of vehicle maintenance. Access for the headlights is extremely complicated to do. It will require many steps, and many tools to complete, as you will need to work in many areas of the front of the vehicle. You will have to lower the tire from under in order to access. This can be a problem, as the lowering mechanism can grow rusted to the vehicle over time and be difficult to turn. To access the center brake light with reliability, you will need to remove a few torx bolts first. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair.
Some things are easier on the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT. Checking the transmission fluid level is easy to do, as the fluid dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay.
