The 2012 Toyota Yaris L is a great car for the novice car owner on account of the simple repair procedures. While you may need to remove an extra cover no tools are required to remove the headlights, and you can access them by simply reaching behind the bulb housing. The tail lights are all accessible behind a single panel in the trunk that’s easy to disengage. The engine air filter is quickly found in the engine bay, and its cover is very simple to remove.
However, there are a couple of pain points on the 2012 Toyota Yaris L. A portion of the cowl will need to be removed in order to access the battery bracket. The front wiper blades will require tools to remove them from the wiper arms. And, the cabin air filter is located behind the glove box, which is rigid and cumbersome to remove.
