The 2011 BMW 535i is a moderately difficult car to maintain due to its complex set-ups and automated procedures. The cabin air filter is located in the footwell of the vehicle and requires multiple panels to be removed for access. The fog light has bulbs in both the front and rear of the vehicle, both of which are rather obstructed. Other parts, such as the oil level and the front wiper blades, will need to be activated via the onboard computer, which is an unintuitive design overall.
However, the 2011 BMW 535i does have a few upsides. The engine coolant reservoir is easy to find with brightly-colored level markers. The power steering fluid reservoir can be found right next to it with a dipstick that’s easy to remove. The engine and interior fuse boxes can be quickly accessed when need be, and come with a fuse puller for your convenience.
