The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 is a moderately difficult vehicle to maintain, and is only recommended to someone capable of vehicle maintenance. In order to access the petcock for a coolant drain, you will have to remove several large panels from under the vehicle. Accessing the cabin air filter will require the removal of many torx bolts and panels. The tools necessary may not be reliably available for a repair. The engine air filter is similarly difficult to access. Other models make the air filters much easier to change.
Some things are less problematic on the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Checking the oil level is no problem, as the oil dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. The front wiper blade is no problem to replace. Other models will require the use of tools to complete, and it’s a nice touch to be able to change this blade with just your hands.
