With its multiple fasteners and cramped position, the battery may prove problematic to remove.

However, the 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid does have many upsides. The cabin air filter can be quickly found behind the glove box, which removes easily without the use of any tools. The headlight and highbeam can be accessed by simply reaching behind the bulb housing, and, if necessary, the engine coolant reservoir wiggles out with ease. The tail lights are simple to access behind the trunk lining, requiring only the removal of a few simple rivets.
