The 2009 Subaru Forester XT Limited is somewhat easy to maintain. All of the tail lights are in a single bulb housing that disengages from the vehicle with ease, making for reliable bulb changes. The spare tire and jack kit are quickly accessible beneath a couple portions of trunk lining, allowing for hassle-free set-up when servicing a flat.

However, the 2009 Forester XT Limited has its downsides. The engine air filter is deeply wedged into a corner of the engine bay and will require many different tools to remove, which won’t make for reliable filter changes.
