The 2009 Pontiac Torrent GXP is moderately easy to maintain. Monitoring the engine coolant won’t be a problem on account of the unobstructed access to the reservoir. Both the oil drain plug and the oil filter are easily accessible from underneath the vehicle, allowing for reliable oil changes. The fuse boxes are quick to access, and the engine fuse box comes provided with a fuse puller for your convenience.
However, the 2009 Pontiac Torrent GXP does have some lengthy downsides, particularly with its lights. Multiple sockets and some force will be necessary to disengage the headlight housing, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. The entire rear bulb housing will need to be removed for access to the tail lights, as well, which can be tedious to take out.
