The 2008 Pontiac Vibe is a moderately easy car to maintain. Both the fog and reverse lights are accessible by simply reaching behind the front and rear bumpers, respectively, requiring no tools and allowing for reliable bulb changes whenever necessary. Changing the rest of the tail lights is no problem, either, as they’re all located behind a single panel in the trunk lining and can be removed with relative ease.
However, the 2008 Pontiac Vibe has its downsides. The remainder of the headlights on the driver side require the battery to be removed before they can be accessed, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Replacing the cabin air filter may be a problem, as the glove box will need to be disengaged for access to it. The interior fuse box is also located in a cramped position in the footwell of the vehicle which may prove cumbersome to access.
