The 2008 Mazda CX-7 Sport is a moderately easy car to maintain. The highbeam is accessible by simply reaching behind the bulb housing, allowing for reliable changes whenever necessary. Similarly, the tail lights are all accessible behind a single panel in the trunk, making for quick and painless replacements. Changing the battery isn’t a problem, either, as its open access allows for a quick removal procedure.
However, the 2008 Mazda CX-7 Sport has its downsides. Changing the rest of the headlights may be a problem, as you’ll need to disconnect the wheel well lining and pry it back for access. Checking the transmission fluid dipstick may be a problem as it’s located in a hard-to-find spot in the engine bay that may be difficult to reach. Similarly, the power steering fluid reservoir is located deep in the engine bay, which will make it a challenge to monitor its levels.
