The 2008 Infiniti EX35 Journey is a difficult car to maintain. The glove box as well as the entire housing will need to be removed to access the cabin air filter, which won’t allow for reliable filter changes. The set-up of the reverse light also doesn’t provide reliable access, requiring multiple panels, fasteners, and secondary assemblies to first be removed before the intended bulb can be reached. Changing the battery may prove to be a problem, as it is located deep within the engine bay and requires the removal of multiple covers in order to reach it.
However, the 2008 Infiniti EX35 Journey does have its upsides. The fuse boxes are easy to access and come provided with a fuse puller, so electrical troubleshooting isn’t a problem. The spare tire and jack kit can be accessed with ease, making fixing a flat a reliable procedure. The engine air filter can also be changed without tools or hassle.
