The 2008 GMC Yukon Denali is a difficult truck to maintain. The wheel well lining, the grille, and multiple rivets and bolts need to be removed in order to access the headlights, which won’t make for reliable bulb changes. The battery bracket is located deep in the engine bay and may prove troublesome to access. The spare tire must be lowered from underneath the vehicle via the bumper plug (itself hidden behind a strange panel), which may prove problematic should it end up rusting to the frame.
However, the 2008 GMC Yukon Denali has its upsides. The fog light can be accessed without any tools, allowing for a reliable bulb change when necessary. The fuse boxes are easy to access and come provided with a fuse puller to help eliminate any problems whilst electrical troubleshooting. The brake fluid reservoir has very open access, which makes monitoring the fluid levels very easy to do.
