The 2008 Audi A3 Quattro is difficult to maintain. You’ll need to remove either the wheel well lining, bulb housings, or additional panels to reach some of the headlights, which will require many tools and won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. The tail lights are also a problem to replace, as a hard-to-reach fastener must be disengaged before the housing can be pried out. A cumbersome panel must be removed from underneath the vehicle in order to perform oil changes or coolant flushes.
However, the 2008 Audi A3 Quattro does have its upsides. The cabin air filter is located underneath the glove box and can be reached without the use of tools, allowing for reliable filter changes. Monitoring the engine coolant won’t be a problem given the unobstructed access to the reservoir. The spare tire and jack kit are easy to reach and remove in the event of a flat.
