The parking light on the driver side requires the removal of the coolant reservoir for access, while the turn signals on both sides require their entire housing to be removed. The fog lights also lack reliable access, as multiple bolts and panels underneath the vehicle need to be removed before you can reach them. Accessing the spare tire may be a problem, as its position underneath the truck runs the risk of it rusting to the frame.

However, the 2006 Toyota Tundra SR5 isn’t all hardships. All of the tail lights are located in a single bulb housing, which swings out easily to allow for reliable bulb changes. The brake fluid reservoir has incredibly open access, allowing you to monitor the fluid levels with ease. Changing the air filter isn’t a problem, as no tools are needed to disengage the filter housing.
