The 2006 Land Rover LR3 SE is a difficult vehicle to maintain. The entire bulb housing must be removed for access to the headlights, which will also require the grille to be removed and won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Performing an oil change or a coolant flush may be a problem as you will first need to remove the skid plate from underneath the vehicle. The spare tire may be difficult to access if it becomes rusted to the undercarriage.
However, the 2006 Land Rover LR3 does have its upsides. The cabin air filter is easy to reach as the covering glove box removes without the use of tools, allowing for fairly reliable filter changes. Monitoring the engine coolant won’t be a problem on account of the open access to the reservoir. The front and rear wiper blades are easy to change and can be done without any tools.
