The 2005 Opel Zafira CDTI Cosmo is a relatively difficult vehicle to maintain, but shouldn’t be too hard for those experienced in vehicle maintenance. You will have to lower the tire from under the vehicle for access to it. The lowering mechanism can grow rusted to the vehicle and be difficult to turn. Changing the cabin air filter with reliability can be a problem, as you will have to remove the entire glove box first. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair. You will have to reach through the wheel well lining for access to the parking light. This is a cramped space to work in and can make a bulb change difficult.
Some things are easier on the 2005 Opel Zafira CDTI Cosmo. Changing the fog light is easy to do, as you only have to reach through the bottom of the vehicle for access to the bulb. Both the front and rear wiper blades are easy to change, as you only have to disengage some tabs to remove the blades. Other models will require the use of tools. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will make it easy to check and refill the fluid level.
