The 2005 Honda S2000 is an easy car to maintain. The rear bulbs can be accessed behind a single piece of trunk lining, allowing for a reliable bulb change procedure. The battery can be quickly found, and with the open access to its bracket it shouldn’t be a problem to remove when necessary. The engine air filter is easy to spot in the front of the engine bay, and no tools are required to change the filter out.
However, the 2005 Honda S2000 does have its downsides. The headlights must be accessed through the wheel well lining, which can be a problem to remove. There are many panels and other parts that need to be disconnected to reach the cabin air filter, which doesn’t make for a very reliable repair. The clutch fluid reservoir is deeply wedged into the engine bay, which makes it difficult to monitor its fluid levels.
