The 2004 Lexus LS430 is a difficult car to maintain. The headlights can’t be changed with reliability, as either multiple fasteners and panels securing the bulb housing or a portion of the wheel well lining will need to be removed for access to the bulbs. Reaching the center brake light might also be a problem on account of the tight fit. The engine coolant is also in a cramped location and monitoring the fluid level will prove challenging.
However, the 2004 Lexus LS430 has its upsides. No tools are needed to access the cabin air filter, which slides out of the housing with the removal of a few panels. Changing a flat shouldn’t be a problem as the spare tire and jack kit are quick to find and easy to set up and operate. The tail lights can be reliably changed as access to them is very hassle-free.
