The 2004 Ford Mustang is a relatively easy car to maintain. Both the engine and interior fuses boxes are easy to access and the latter comes provided with a fuse puller, which should eliminate any problems with electrical troubleshooting. The brake fluid reservoir can be monitored with reliability on account of its incredibly open access. The engine air filter is easy to change, as no tools are needed to disengage the housing nor to remove the filter itself.
However, the 2004 Ford Mustang has its downsides. The headlights’ housing will need to be removed in order to access any of the bulb assemblies, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. The same goes for accessing any of the tail lights, which will also require multiple different tools to remove. Monitoring the power steering fluid reservoir might be a problem on account of its hard-to-reach location deep in the engine bay.
