The tail lights are also reliable to access behind a single panel in the trunk, which makes changing them a hassle-free procedure.
However, the 2002 BMW 530i has its downsides. The battery is located in the trunk and offers a rather cramped reach for its bracket, which won’t allow for reliable access. Accessing the fog lights may be a problem on account of the tools and panel removals necessary to reach them. The engine coolant reservoir relies on a buoy system to monitor the fluid, which isn’t as convenient as traditional level markers.
