The 2000 Honda Accord EX is a difficult car to maintain. Multiple fasteners, panels, and the glove box housing itself will need to be removed in order to access the cabin air filter, which won’t allow for reliable changes. Some of the headlights on the passenger side will require the removal of both the intake vent and the engine coolant, which will make for tedious access. Changing the turn signal bulbs on either side will be a problem, as you’ll first need to pry back the wheel well lining for access.
However, the 2000 Honda Accord EX has its upsides. Accessing the battery isn’t a problem on account of the open access to both its bracket and terminals. The spare tire and jack kit have hassle-free access, as well, allowing you to change a flat tire with reliability. The engine air filter is also easy to change, requiring no tools for access.
