You only have to remove one cover, and peel back one lining, in order to access the fuses, making electrical troubleshooting no problem. Checking the oil level is easy to do, as the oil dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay.

Some things are tougher to repair on the 2000 Cadillac Eldorado ESC. You will have to disengage a few fasteners, and peel back a lining in the trunk, in order to take the tail light housing out for access to a few of the tail lights. This would have been much easier if there were a designated panel in the rear of the vehicle for reliable access. In order to access the petcock, you will have to lift the air filter housing in order to reach through the engine bay. This is more problematic access than other models. The transmission fluid dipstick is difficult to access, as you will have to make a tight reach in the engine bay in order to access.
