The 1999 Honda Accord LX is somewhat easy to maintain. Replacing the battery won’t be a problem as it is easy to reach both the bracket and the terminals to remove them. The tail lights in the trunk door can be changed with reliability as they won’t rely on tools or parts removals. The front wiper blades are simple to change as they can be removed with just the push of a single tab.
However, the 1999 Honda Accord LX does have a handful of complicated procedures. The entire glove box housing must be removed for access to the cabin air filter, which will not allow for reliable filter changes in the slightest. Accessing some of the headlights may be a problem as you must pry back the wheel well lining to do so. The transmission fluid dipstick is buried in the engine bay and will be challenging to remove.
