The 1998 Ford Mustang GT is a relatively easy car to maintain. The engine coolant reservoir has unobstructed access that will allow you to monitor the fluid levels with reliability. Changing the fog light won’t be a problem as no tools nor parts removals will be required. The spare tire and jack kit are packaged together, allowing for quick removal and easy set-up in the event of a flat.
However, the 1998 Ford Mustang GT does have a few downsides. Accessing the tail lights will require the entire rear bulb housing to be removed, which will first require the removal of a few bolts. The front turn signal will also require a housing removal for access, which won’t make for reliable bulb changes. Replacing the engine air filter could be problematic as you’ll need tools to disengage the housing cover first.
