How to Change Sealed Beam Headlights to LEDs
Sealed beam bulbs on older cars are often dim and can be persnickity to replace. Whether its from old age or corrosion, the trip pieces and screws that hold sealed beam bulbs in place are often difficult to remove. Upgrading to Sylvania LED sealed beam bulbs provides much better visibility, a lifetime warranty and an upgraded appearance. To replace a sealed beam bulb, start by finding the metal trim that holds bulb in place. There are often screws holding this trim in place - remove these screws and try not to damage the trim as this will go over your new light. Remove any additional fasteners and try to pull the light out far enough to unplug it from the rear. Once the bulb is unplugged, remove it and replace it with a new bulb. Be sure to secure it and replace any trim pieces.
